Paying for Transport

Public transportation in Dublin is affordable and efficient. It is recommended to use a contactless prepaid LEAP card to pay for all of your transportation needs. These cards can be bought in any convenience store around Dublin. Prices vary depending on how far you wish to travel on either mode of public transportation. The average price is €2.10 for a single journey for LEAP card holders. Single journey tickets are available on buses and in LUAS stations as an alternative to LEAP cards.
